ABOUT TECAHER
Ratul Parbat, a talented and promising singer from Kolkata, India, was born into a musically enriched family. His grandfather, Late Prafulla Kumar Parbat, was a renowned sitar maestro whose legacy deeply influenced Ratul's early musical journey.
Ratul began his training in Rabindra Sangeet under the esteemed guidance of Swagata Lakshmi Dasgupta, and further honed his skills in Indian Classical music under Sri Subhankar Bhaskar, Dipankar Chatterjee, and Abhijit Bandyopadhyay. His exposure to various Gharanas enriched his versatility and depth as a vocalist.
Ratul holds a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Vocal Music (Bangla Gaan) from Rabindra Bharati University, affirming his academic foundation and artistic excellence.
