Dr. DINKAR SHARMA belongs to “Patiala Gharana”. He is solo Harmonium player as well as Vocalist. His guru Ustad Bhure Khan, a legendary Harmonium player, enriched Patiala Gharana with his “Gayaki” (vocal nuances) style of playing and made solo harmonium playing appealing more than ever. He is graded artist in All India Radio. He got trained from Ustad Bhure Khan for almost 31 years. Presently he is Khalifa of Bhurekhani Baaj.

In Bhurekhani Baaj, both classical and light are practiced. He has been playing Harmonium all over the globe. He is not only a harmonium player and vocalist, but a great teacher, who provides the training in Harmonium in a structural way. His magical fingering touches heart of the audiences in all genre of playing be it classical or western.

Dr. Sharma accompanied with Pandit Jasraj for a long time.
