About Teacher


PARITOSH NANDI is a very promising artist at his young age. Being born and brought-up in a musical family, his first guru in TABLA was his father, Shree Nirmal Chandra Nandi. As grandson of the legend, late pandit Radha Kant Nandi, he is very seamless in sangeet, taalam & chhandam, and as such, is a disciple of pandit Govinda Bose and later pandit Bikram Ghosh, respectively.

MUSICAL CARRIER

First guru of PARITOSH NANDI was his father Shree Nirmal Chandra Nandi. Later, he was a disciple of pandit Govinda Bose, and lastly, pandit Vikram Ghosh. Beside performing TABLA SOLO in Hindustani Classical Music very satisfactorily, PARITOSH NANDI also accompanied with so many maestros of Classical & Light-Classical Artists such as pt. Saumitra Lahiri, pt. Sohan Lal Sharma, pt. Monilal Nag, vidushi Shipra Bose, to name a few.

He also accompanied with Light Music such as ‘RHYTHM-SCAPE’ (Bikram Ghosh), ‘MUSAFIR’ (a classical instrumental fusion team), and vocal artists such as smt. Swagatalaxmi Dasgupta, smt. Sampa Kundu, smt. Manoshi Mukhopadhay, smt. Shreya Ghoshal, to name a few.
